About Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun
Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun follows a germaphobe soccer genius who plays through tackles without touching anyone or anything dirty. Twelve episodes aired July 2 to September 17, 2017, with headers, clean freak tackles and the Kaidan club push. The manga ran 13 volumes to 2018 with extra matches beyond the show.
The run is a single gag season with no sequel. Its clean freak bit either lands in episode 1 or never does. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order since the club push and the Moka thread build lightly across the summer.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order. The club push and the rival school beats stack lightly, so the finale only lands with the run behind it. No second season is announced. The manga covers the same school year with extra matches for readers. The germaphobe gag never explains itself further than episode 1.
