About Babel II
Babel II adapts Mitsuteru Yokoyama with boy Koichi commanding Rodem, Ropross and Poseidon against Yomi. The 1973 TV run spans 39 episodes on NET with desert base plots and tower lore. The 1992 OVA runs four parts with a 1990s redesign and new cast voices.
Babel II Beyond Infinity from 2001 runs 13 episodes on TV Tokyo as a loose reboot with Koichi in school and new partners. No further run was made, so the three form the set. Each version keeps the tower and three servants core with updated art.
Good to know
There is no shared order since casts and Yomi reset each time fully. Watch 1973 then stop, or OVA then Beyond Infinity for modern takes in turn. Beyond Infinity assumes nothing but rewards 1973 knowledge with cameo names and base nods. Treat the three as closed separately with no crossover film made.
