About Banana Fish
Banana Fish aired July 5 to December 20, 2018 as 24 episodes from MAPPA after Akimi Yoshida manga with Hiroko Utsumi directing. Ash Lynx hunts Banana Fish with Eiji Okumura while Dino Golzine pulls strings through Griffin letters. The run moves from bars to mansions to museum with Lee Yut Lung.
No second season was announced with manga ended in 1994 across 19 volumes. Netflix added the run in 2026 with new dubs after Prime. Watch episodes 1 through 24 straight, since the address clues through library dud build the garden close with Sing.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The street pickup through final letters plays forward in broadcast order across 24 parts of about 23 minutes with Iraq drug thread. Start at episode 1, since the Griffin setup matters later for Ash. Treat the 2018 run as finished, with dubs as extras only.
