About Bucchigiri
Bucchigiri?! (2024) is a MAPPA original about Arajin, who wants a quiet school life but reunites with his brawler friend Matakara and fuses with the genie-like Honki person Senya. The season builds from school brawls to a turf war finale.
Watch in broadcast order since alliances and Honki powers unlock in sequence. The 12 episodes aired January to March 2024 as a single self-contained run. Early episodes play as delinquent comedy before the action turns serious in the back half. No second season or film continues the plot, so the TV run is the complete story with its gang war resolved by episode 12.
Good to know
The series runs 12 episodes as a MAPPA original with no manga source to consult. Comedy dominates the first third while gang lore and Honki fights take over later. Character designs and fight animation are the main draw, so watch for the crew battles rather than deep plot. No sequel has been announced, so treat episode 12 as the finale and enjoy the single-season arc as a complete brawler tale.
