About Buddy Complex
Buddy Complex runs 13 TV episodes in 2014 with Aoba pulled into Valiancer fights across time. The two final episodes from 2014 close the coupling arc after the TV finale split. Both share one mecha timeline.
Watch the TV series first, then the final episodes, since the close assumes the finale split. The project is an original with no manga to consult. No second TV season breaks this chain as of this check, so TV then close covers the full story. New viewers can start with the first entry for the cleanest introduction.
Good to know
Release order matches coupling growth from first ride to final pair. The TV run sets Aoba, Dio and time jumps across 13 episodes. The final two run about 50 minutes total into the closing battle and should be saved for last. Start with TV for Valiancer rules before the close payoff. The run is complete with no sequel announced.
