About Deca-Dence
Deca-Dence is an original anime from studio NUT directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa. Tomori Kusunoki voices Natsume, a Tanker dreaming of Gear combat, with Katsuyuki Konishi as repairman Kaburagi. Hiroshi Seko writes. Survivors live in a moving fortress fighting Gadoll beasts.
Twelve episodes aired July 8 to September 23, 2020. The run moves from orphanage assignment through squad battles to the cyborg reveal near episode 6, then system revolt to the Omega finale. An online recap Install covers episodes 1 to 5. No second season had aired as of October 2026.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order. The episode 6 cyborg turn reframes every Gadoll fight before it, so the premiere half must come first. Radiator strands Natsume with Pipe while Kaburagi faces the system. The finale fires the fortress cannon at Omega. Skip the Install recap on a first watch, it only repeats.
