Guilty Crown follows Shu pulling weapons from hearts with Inori in quarantined Tokyo. The TV series ran 22 episodes from October 2011 to March 2012 on noitamina. The Reassortment special in January 2012 recaps episodes 1 through 11 between broadcasts.
Lost Christmas in July 2012 runs 15 minutes bundled with the visual novel as a prequel set December 2029, ten years before the TV 2039 story. No sequel has been announced as of September 2026. Watch the 22 episodes first, skip or view Reassortment mid run, then Lost Christmas as a prequel extra.
Good to know
Lost Christmas sits 10 years before the TV story in time but released after, so chronological order would start there. The guide still recommends release order because the prequel assumes you know the virus and Void rules. Reassortment only repeats the first half. The TV finale ends the story closed with no continuation dated.
