About Guin Saga

Guin Saga adapts Kaoru Kurimoto novels about Guin, a warrior with a leopard mask and no memory, guarding twins Rinda and Remus. Twenty six episodes aired in 2009 from Satelight, covering the escape, the mercenary years and the Mongaul front.

The novels run over a hundred volumes, so the anime is an early slice that stops without a full close. Release order is story order, since the twins age and the armies move in one line. No film continues the anime thread, so the TV run stands alone as the screen version.

Good to know

Watch episodes 1 through 26 in order. The show ends open, so expect a pause rather than a finale. Novel readers can continue past the anime stop, since the TV run covers only the opening campaigns. The mask mystery stays unsolved on screen, which is faithful to the early books and their slow reveals.
