About Horimiya
Horimiya follows popular Hori and gloomy Miyamura discovering each other's hidden sides after school, turning a chance meeting into the class romance. The 2021 season ran thirteen episodes at CloverWorks through graduation-paced milestones.
The Missing Pieces from 2023 runs thirteen more episodes of skipped manga chapters set during that same first season. It is not a sequel but a side-dish companion to rewatch alongside. The manga ended in 2021 with a bonus volume in 2023. Watch the 2021 season first, then Piece.
Good to know
Piece is set inside season 1 rather than after it, but release order still works best since the companion assumes you know the couple. Both runs are thirteen episodes at the same studio. No further anime is announced. Start with the 2021 season for the main romance line, then take Piece as an encore of moments the first pass skipped.
