About Inuyashiki
Inuyashiki follows old salaryman Ichiro and teen Hiro rebuilt as weapons after an alien blast. MAPPA produced 11 episodes from October to December 2017 on Noitamina adapting the Oku manga, which ended the same year across 10 volumes.
The live film in April 2018 runs over two hours with the same arc and cast led by Kinashi and Satoh. It was planned as the first of three films but parts 2 and 3 never came. Watch the 11 episodes first, then the film as a retelling. No season 2 has been announced since 2017.
Good to know
There is no chronological split. The TV run tells the clash straight, so release order is the only list. The film repeats the manga rather than continuing, so treat it as separate. The manga ending matches the anime path. The planned trilogy stopped at part 1, so episode 11 plus the film is the complete screen story.
