About Masamune-kun's Revenge
Masamune-kun's Revenge follows Masamune Makabe as he returns fit to make Aki Adagaki fall for him after childhood rejection. Season one from 2017 sets the school plan, Yoshino help and the fake romance beats. It ends with the past still unclear.
Season two, titled Engagement, arrived in 2023 and resolves the childhood promise with Paris and family arcs. The story runs straight with no films or spinoffs. Watch season one before Engagement, since the second assumes you know the lies and who hid what.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order, since school and trip arcs run in sequence with no flashback seasons to reorder. Season two reveals change season one scenes on rewatch, but first viewing should stay in release order. The manga ending matches the anime close, so the 2023 season is the current end. Start at season one.
