- 14 Pokémon Horizons: Season 3, Rising Hope 47 episodes, ended May 1, 2026 in Japan. A three-part Mega Evolution flashback aired inside it.
- 15 Pokémon Horizons: Wonder Voyage arc Started May 22, 2026, still airing weekly in Japan as of September 2026. English release not yet scheduled.
About Pokémon
The Pokémon anime has run without a break since April 1, 1997. In Japan it is eight long series; the international broadcast splits the same run into 28 seasons, so season numbers and episode counts differ by region. Ash Ketchum's journey ended with the To Be a Pokémon Master specials on March 24, 2023.
Horizons replaced him with Liko and Roy on April 14, 2023. Three seasons have aired: The Search for Laqua, then Rising Hope, which finished May 1, 2026, then the Wonder Voyage arc, which began May 22, 2026 and was still running weekly in Japan when this was checked in September 2026.
Release order and story order are the same list, so there is only one order here. The films are self-contained and need no fixed slot.
Good to know
The earliest sagas carry a lot of filler, and Journeys in particular drops the one-region-per-series structure and hops between Kanto, Galar and elsewhere. Netflix batches run months behind Japan, so Japanese audio with subtitles lands first. No new mainline series has been announced; the next thing on the calendar is a stop-motion Aardman series for 2027.
