About Pretty Cure
Pretty Cure follows new magical girl teams each year with Toei animation. Futari wa from 2004 sets Nagisa and Honoka across 49 episodes with garden foes. Splash Star from 2006 and Yes 5 from 2007 keep the two to five Cure format with mascot guides and mirror worlds.
HeartCatch from 2010, Smile from 2012 and later runs like Hugtto, Star Twinkle and Wonderful keep yearly resets into 2024 to 2026. Films play as crossovers outside seasons. Each season stands alone, so release order suits history over plot with crossovers last.
