About Project A-ko
Project A-ko starts with the 1986 film about superpowered A-ko racing C-ko to school while B-ko schemes with the Alpha Cygnans overhead. Daitokuji Financial Group's Daughter from 1987 continues the school rivalry with a vacation turn.
Cinderella Rhapsody from 1988 and Final from 1989 close the school run with the alien plot resolved. Watch films 1 through 4 in order. The alien thread from the first film pays off only in sequence, so the comedies stack into the finale. B-ko's Alpha Cygnan tech drives the action set pieces throughout.
Good to know
Watch the four films in release order. Grey Side and Blue Side from 1990 retell the story as an alternate continuity and sit outside this list. The parody jokes reference Fist of the North Star, Gundam and Macross, but land without homework. No new A-ko anime had been announced as of October 2026. Start with the 1986 film.
