About Silver Spoon
Silver Spoon follows Yugo Hachiken, who leaves city school for Ooezo farm school in Hokkaido with no plan at all in spring. Season 1 ran eleven episodes in July 2013 with eggs, cheese, bacon and Pork Bowl the piglet fare in barns.
Season 2 ran eleven more in January 2014 with the pizza contest, layoffs, vet dreams and spring business plans in full glow. A-1 Pictures made both from Hiromu Arakawa manga with real farm detail. Watch season 1 then season 2, since skills and debts carry across terms.
Good to know
Watch season 1 then season 2. The farm year moves forward with no flashback arc to reorder at all in school. Pork Bowl lands mid season 1 on purpose for full weight and tears. The manga runs past the anime with the same close and extra years in print, and no third season has aired, so the twenty two episodes stand complete.
