About Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling adapts the Korean web novel and manhwa about hunter Sung Jinwoo across two A-1 Pictures seasons in order. Season 1 from January 2024 covers his double-dungeon awakening through the job-change quest, and season 2 Arise from the Shadow from January 2025 runs through Jeju Island.
A recap film, ReAwakening, bridges the seasons for newcomers. Season 3 is in production with a 2027 to 2028 window per D and C Media's June 2026 report, so the anime currently stops at the Retesting and Hunters Guild setup with the Jeju aftermath still fresh.
Good to know
Watch season 1, then season 2, and skip ReAwakening unless you want a recap since it reuses TV footage with a short preview attached. Story order matches release order with no prequels to reorder. The manhwa and Ragnarok sequel run ahead, so readers can continue past Jeju Island while waiting for the 2027 to 2028 season 3 window.
