About Symphogear
Symphogear follows Hibiki wielding song-powered armor against the Noise across thirteen episodes in 2012. G from 2013 continues with new users and American overstories, GX from 2015 brings the Autoscorers, AXZ from 2017 the Bavarian Illuminati, and XV from 2019 closes the Custodians.
Every season runs thirteen episodes for sixty-five total plus bonus comedy shorts. A movie version plus a next music project were announced with no date. The story runs strictly linear sequel, so broadcast order across all five seasons is the guide.
Good to know
Release order is story order from Hibiki's first live-concert transformation through the final Custodian war. Bonus comedy shorts orbit each season as extras. The announced movie version has no date and stays in the notes. Start with the 2012 season, since the relic lore and team roster stack every year after.
