About Zenshu
Zenshu is an original anime from MAPPA about hit animator Natsuko Hirose who wakes inside her favorite childhood film A Tale of Perishing. She tries to redraw its doomed ending with hero Luke Braveheart. Mitsue Yamazaki directed with Kimiko Ueno writing.
The 12 episodes aired Sundays January 5 to March 23, 2025. The finale titled ZENSHU closes the redraw arc. No second season was confirmed as of the finale. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order. The film-inside logic only tracks if you follow Natsuko's edits week to week.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Zenshu worth listing. The isekai frame already plays in intended broadcast order, so release order and story order are the same list. Watch episodes 1 through 12 straight. Talk of a second season remains unconfirmed chatter, so no null-year entry sits here until MAPPA announces. Finish episode 12 before sequel speculation.
