About Almost Naked Animals
Almost Naked Animals follows Howie, a tighty-whitey-wearing poodle who runs the Banana Cabana beach hotel with Octopus manager Octo. With Piggy the chef and Narwhal the daredevil, each episode pairs a hotel job with a beach disaster. YTV aired fifty-two episodes from 2011 to 2013.
Early episodes establish the Cabana rules and the cliff-diving rivalries. Middle chapters add the Yetis, the Sloth Department and the hotel-inspection scares. Later episodes close with award shows that reuse earlier mishaps. The humor reuses underwear jokes without explanation, so order teaches the running gags.
Good to know
Watch in broadcast order. The show is episodic, but hotel staff and rivals return without reintroduction. There is no story arc to spoil heavily. Kids can jump to favorite beach stunts once they know Howie and Octo, yet the finale award episode works better after the full mishap buildup. Late chapters reuse earlier mishaps for the award show payoff.
