About Bananas in Pyjamas
Bananas in Pyjamas premiered July 1992 on ABC about twins B1 and B2 tricking Teddies with Rat in a Hat watching. Original run sets 304 episodes with shop chases to 2001.
Reboot arrived 2011 on ABC2 with CGI looks and new neighbours plus 104 episodes to 2013. Each series resets but keeps bananas, so newcomers start with 1992 before 2011 for jokes. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone. New jobs appear often, with each fix teaching care without losing humor and keeping friends clear.
Good to know
There is no strict story order since episodes reset with new tricks each time. Watch 1992 series fully before 2011 reboot, since reboot assumes banana bonds. Treat the run as complete with two series, and save specials for after mains. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
