About Batman: The Brave and the Bold

Batman: The Brave and the Bold teams a lighter Batman with a rotating hero every episode, from Blue Beetle to Aquaman, in the spirit of the classic comics. Premiering November 2008 on Cartoon Network, its 26-episode first season leaned into Silver Age fun that the darker Batman shows never touched.

The second season ran 25 episodes from 2009 and the third ran 13 from 2011, ending that November with fandom cameos and musical numbers. Episodes stand alone with only light continuity, so air order works and cherry-picking works too. Start at season one for the tone, then jump freely.

Good to know

Air order suits a mostly episodic team-up show. A few two-parters and the late-series cameo episodes reward sequence, but no arc breaks if sampled.
