About Chip and Dale
Chip and Dale debut in Private Pluto from April 2, 1943 and get named in Chip an' Dale from 1947, sparring with Donald and Pluto across 1950s shorts. Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers ran 65 episodes across three seasons from March 4, 1989 to November 19, 1990 on Disney Afternoon with Gadget, Monterey Jack and Zipper.
Chip 'n Dale: Park Life premiered July 28, 2021 on Disney Plus as a non-verbal slapstick reboot across two seasons. Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers film arrived May 20, 2022 as a meta sequel where the cartoon stars live in Los Angeles 30 years after cancellation. No new series has been dated, but the pair remain active icons.
Good to know
The classic shorts have no continuity, so any order works there. Rescue Rangers is the only serialized run and needs straight viewing. Park Life restarts the pair without Rescue Rangers ties, so it can follow or precede that show. The 2022 film assumes you know Rescue Rangers and spoils its premise, which is why it sits last. With streaming shorts still circulating, this stays ongoing.
