Chuggington follows trainee engines Wilson, Brewster and Koko. Series 1 ran 52 episodes from 2008 to 2009, series 2 ran 26 in 2010, series 3 ran 14 in 2011 and series 4 ran 26 in 2013 to 2014. Series 5 ran 10 in 2015.
Tales from the Rails ran 46 episodes from 2020 to 2021 under Herschend after the Ludorum sale. Badge Quest shorts ran 46 from 2010 to 2012 and 7 specials span 2013 to 2021 with Holidays last. No series 7 materialized as of September 2026. Watch series 1 through 6 with shorts around them.
Good to know
Episodes stand alone as trainee lessons, so release order is about animation and cast rather than plot. The Herschend series 6 continues the same trainees with new owners. Badge Quest shorts fit around series 2 and 3. The December 2021 Holidays special is the current endpoint with no new series ordered.
