About Darkwing Duck
Darkwing Duck follows Drake Mallard balancing dad life with caped fights over St Canard against the Fearsome Five. The Darkly Dawns pilot from 1991 sets Gosalyn adoption and Taurus Bulba, while the series runs 91 episodes through Negaduck, Quackerjack and Megavolt schemes.
Watch the pilot first since the series assumes the adoption and hideout setup. Episodes mostly reset with villain of the weekder, so sampling is safe after the pilot. No revival has been ordered beyond comics and the cancelled reboot talk, which leaves the 1991 run as the closed set.
Good to know
Broadcast order works with the pilot as episodes one and two. Start with Darkly Dawns for Drake Gosalyn adoption rules before Fearsome Five team ups take over. Negaduck mirror episodes land harder once the base rogue set is fully known. Treat the 1992 end as the close with Drake still patrolling St Canard and no sequel series dated.
