About Kid Cosmic
Kid Cosmic (2021 to 2022) is Craig McCracken's Netflix trilogy about a kid who finds cosmic stones of power in the desert: season 1 is the local-hero origin across 10 episodes, season 2 goes intergalactic, and season 3 jumps to an antifuture. Each season has its own title and tone.
Watch all three in order; they form one planned story about power and responsibility, ending where McCracken intended. The show was designed as three seasons from the start, so the finale closes properly rather than cancelling mid-arc. The comic-book panel transitions and shifting art styles per season are the visual signature.
Good to know
The season subtitles (Local Heroes, Intergalactic Truckstop, Global Heroes) mark real genre shifts, so expect each run to feel different. The show's ratings never matched its reviews, but the three-season plan was completed regardless. McCracken's Powerpuff and Foster's fingerprints show in the kid logic. No continuation has been announced, and none is needed: the story ends.
