About Pingu
Pingu follows Pingu with Pinga, Mum and Dad in ice tales with school and sleds. The 1986 Hug short sets the Noot Noot rules with Swiss clay and beak talk. Series 1 to 2 from 1990 run 52 tales with sleds, school and fish jokes on BBC with trusted style.
Later series keep the same short format into the 2000s with new family beats. Pingu in the City from 2017 reboots with CGI and city jobs. The show closed after the city run with no new series dated, so broadcast order keeps each style change clear without a finale to aim for.

Tales can be sampled freely, but start with series 1 to learn the Noot rules well. Later pranks only make sense after the base family seen across years. The City reboot fits last as a new style rather than a season 7. Treat the set as complete, since no new Pingu had been dated as of September 2026.
