About Smiling Friends
Smiling Friends follows Pim and Charlie taking miserable client jobs for their charity, with each episode resetting the cruel joke. The April 2020 pilot led into season 1 from January 2022 with nine episodes including the Brazil special.
Season 2 ran eight episodes in 2024 and season 3 ran ten from October 2025 to April 2026. The creators closed the show after season 3 citing burnout, scrapping an earlier renewal for seasons 4 and 5. The show is fully episodic, so release order from the pilot is the tour.
