About Special Agent Oso
Series 1 from April 2009 runs 48 segments as bear agent Oso pauses training to help kids with everyday tasks, guided by Paw Pilot and Mr Dos. Episode titles pun Bond films while three step missions teach the skill. The run sits in Playhouse Disney.
Series 2 from July 2010 runs to May 2012 with longer missions and new gadgets, moving into Disney Junior. The format stays, with Dotty and Wolfie joining jobs. Watch series 1 first, since series 2 assumes the three steps and the crew. Three Healthy Steps shorts aired alongside in 2011.
Good to know
Broadcast order is the learning order, with skills building gently. Start with series 1 for the three steps song. Each show splits into two 11 minute missions, so pacing suits short sittings. Series 2 runs longer overall. The 2012 close ends the run, with Disney Junior reruns after. Bond puns reward parents.
