About Whatever Happened to Robot Jones

Robot Jones follows a robot learning human life at Polyneux Middle School. The pilot aired June 2000 on Voice Your Choice Weekend, losing to Grim and Evil but still ordered. Season 1 ran 6 half hours from July to September 2002 with computer TTS voice.

Season 2 ran 7 half hours from October to November 2003 with child actor Bobby Block, and season 1 reruns were redubbed with Block. The show was cancelled during season 2 and ended with Summer Camp and Rules of Dating. Cameos in OK K.O. and Jellystone are the only returns.

Good to know

There is no story order for Robot Jones. Every half hour holds two school segments that stand alone, so release order is just the broadcast path. Watch the pilot, then seasons 1 and 2. Season 2 recordings with the old computer voice were thrown out, so Block is the voice you will hear on reruns and streams now.
