About Yo Gabba Gabba
Yo Gabba Gabba centers DJ Lance Rock with Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee and Plex teaching preschool skills through songs. The original ran four seasons and 66 episodes from August 2007 to November 2015 on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr with indie guest bands throughout. Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz created the show around dance and simple lessons.
Yo Gabba GabbaLand premiered ten episodes on Apple TV in August 2024 with Kammy Kam hosting and the original voices back. A second revival season followed with more music. Each episode stands alone by topic, so the order matters less for plot and more for watching the style grow.
Good to know
Watch the original run before GabbaLand, since the revival assumes you know the characters and jokes. DJ Lance Rock hosts the original, while Kammy Kam hosts the revival. Episodes are topical and standalone, so you can sample, but release order shows the music shift best. The revival continues on Apple TV with no announced end, so the guide stays ongoing.
