About A Plague Tale
A Plague Tale from Asobo started May 14, 2019 with Innocence on PS4 and Xbox about Amicia escorting Hugo through Inquisition France with rat swarms. Requiem followed October 18, 2022 on PS5 and Series with island cure hunt and 300000 rats. Resonance Legacy arrived August 27, 2026 as Sophia prequel.
Legacy predates Innocence in story, but play Innocence first for Macula rules. Requiem continues months after with crossbow additions. The series totals three games with no fourth dated, so release order with prequel last works best for newcomers.
Good to know
There is a prequel split here, so release order beats chronology for first play. Innocence runs about 12 hours teaching sling and fire. Requiem runs 18 hours adding knives and open zones. Legacy follows Sophia before brothers and can be played third. All carry M ratings for gore and rats. Start on normal for stealth without missing Hugo beats.
