About Balatro
Balatro launched in 2024 from LocalThunk as a poker roguelike built on chips, jokers and planet upgrades. Eight antes with blinds and boss rules form each run, while decks, stakes and vouchers widen the pool. Free updates added new jokers, crossovers and balance passes.
There is no sequel, only one game growing by patches, so play the base first then each update in turn.
