About Carmen Sandiego
Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego released 1985 from Broderbund about chasing VILE with atlas clues. Time in 1989 plus USA and Space plus Math Detective set school chases.
Treasures of Knowledge in 2001 plus Returns in 2015 closed chases. Each entry resets thefts but keeps Carmen, so newcomers start with World before Times for maps. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone. New jobs appear often, with each fix teaching care without losing humor and keeping friends clear.
Good to know
There is no shared story to reorder since thefts stand alone with new maps each time. Play World fully before Time to Returns, since VILE returns. Treat the run as complete with many chases, and save mobile for after mains. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
