About Commandos
Commandos from Pyro Studios launched in 1998 as isometric World War 2 stealth with six specialists. Behind Enemy Lines runs 20 missions from Norway to France with the Green Beret, Sniper and Driver. Beyond the Call of Duty from 1999 adds eight harder maps with new vehicles and snow gear.
Destination Berlin from 2001 runs 21 across three campaigns to the war end with larger squads. Strike Force from 2006 shifts to first person and sits apart. Commandos Origins from 2025 by Claymore reboots as a prequel with six heroes. No sequel was dated by September 2026.
Good to know
Play Behind Enemy Lines then Beyond then Destination Berlin before Origins, since patrol cones and sound traps build directly. Origins replays early war years with modern controls that spoil old map solutions. Strike Force fits anywhere as a separate shooter. Treat the run as open while Kalypso weighs more Origins missions.
