About Eiyuden Chronicle
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising (2022) is a Natsume Atari action RPG prequel set before the war, weaving tales of characters who later join your army. The town upgrading loop introduces Allraan factions without demanding JRPG mastery.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (2024) is the main turn based JRPG with over one hundred recruitable heroes, castle headquarters and Galdean Empire war plot. Clearing Rising unlocks bonus content in Hundred Heroes, so release order doubles as intended story order. The pair comes from Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama team via 2020 Kickstarter success.
Good to know
Release order is also chronological, since Rising tales happen before Hundred Heroes war. Start with Rising for fast action and town mechanics that ease you into Allraan. Move to Hundred Heroes for the full sixty hour recruitment run with DLC chapters for Seign, Marisa and Markus expanding after launch. The duology is complete with no third game announced.
