Gabriel Knight follows writer Gabriel and Grace as Schattenjagers on voodoo, werewolf and vampire cases. Sins of the Fathers from 1993 sets New Orleans, voodoo and the family curse. It ends with Gabriel claimed.
The Beast Within from 1995 moves to Germany with Grace playable, while Blood of the Sacred from 1999 closes France with puzzles. The 2014 remake rebuilds the original. No new game has been dated. Play 1, then 2, then 3, then the remake. Cases stand alone per city, but research and Schattenjager rules grow with each game across the trilogy.

Release order matches the best play path, since each case reuses research and talk systems from the last. The original teaches voodoo, comics and days through New Orleans. Later games add hunts and maps that only click after that base. The remake works as a modern start, but the curse lands best after 1993. Start at Sins.
