About Genki

Genki opened the Wangan run with Shutokou Battle in 1994 on Saturn. Tokyo Xtreme Racer followed in 1999 on Dreamcast dueling rivals at night. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 arrived in 2000 widening the highways, and Zero in 2001 refined the SP bars.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 came in 2003 across three cities, and the new Tokyo Xtreme Racer in 2025 revived the duel bars on Steam. The games share rival flags and highway loops but saves never carry. Release order teaches the SP duel grammar best. The rival flags and SP bars carry every duel with night glow.

Good to know

Play oldest to newest since the duel bars build that way. The Dreamcast two set the night grammar for the run. Zero and 3 suit long highway nights while 2025 closes as the return. No next game has a date yet, so the 2025 entry stays last until one lands. The import love confirms the runs, so give 1999 full attention.
