About Jet Moto
Jet Moto from October 1996 opens the hover bike line on PlayStation with land and water tracks, built by SingleTrac of Twisted Metal fame. Ten tracks reward air and stunt risk. A PC port followed in 1997.
Jet Moto 2 from November 1997 adds ten harder tracks with canyons and volcanoes, keeping the same crew. Jet Moto 3 from August 1999 closes the released run under a new studio, North America only. Two further titles were cancelled, so the trio is the full set. Play in release order throughout. PS4 ports arrived in 2023.
Good to know
Release order is the difficulty order, with each game assuming the last one's air control. Start with the 1996 original for the basics. Part 2 is often called more of the same, so expect familiarity. Part 3 runs North America only and needs original hardware or store ports. Cancelled 2124 and SOLAR stay out.
