About Locomalito
Locomalito is Juan Antonio Becerra making new retro freeware from Andalusia with Gryzor87 music. Hydorah from June 2010 scrolled a Gradius style shooter free, Maldita Castilla from December 2012 played Ghosts n Goblins devotion free, and the Cursed Castilla EX from 2016 expanded it commercial across consoles.
Super Hydorah from 2017 expanded the shooter commercial with 21 stages. Darkula from 2019 and Toxic Tomb from 2024 keep the freeware line alive. Anguna and Courier of the Crypts belong to scene friends, not him. Play the EX versions on modern platforms.
Good to know
Release order is the play order. The freeware originals and their EX expansions pair up, with EX as the modern pick on each pair. The minigames and Gaurodan updates fold into the catalog rather than listing. Anguna and Courier of the Crypts are frequent misattributions that stay out. No next Locomalito title is dated.
