About Petz
Petz is Ubisoft virtual pet line from Dogz and Catz packs with stylus care on DS and Wii. Core run opening with Dogz 2 and Catz 2 in 2006 on DS with feeding, Horsez 2 followed in 2007, Petz Rescue in 2008, Vet and Horsez Playground in 2009 across DS and Wii with shelters and clinics for animals.
Each game restarts with new animals rather than saving prior pets across shelters. Play Dogz and Catz first for care basics, then Horsez, Rescue, and Vet in release order, since later entries assume feeding and training comfort for players.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing for play. The core Ubisoft games from 2006 to 2009 each open new shelters anew with animals always for care, so release order and story order are the same list. Nursery and farm spinoffs sit beside and can be sampled after the core five for extras and variety.
