PGA Golf opened in 1990 on PC, then II, III, and 96 to 98 yearly. Tiger Woods 99 launched in 1998 with exclusive deal through PGA Tour 14 in 2013 with Augusta. Rory McIlroy ran solo in 2015 on Frostbite before delist.
EA Sports PGA Tour returned April 7, 2023 on PS5 and Series with 30 courses and Road to Masters. PGA 2K21 came in 2020, 2K23 October 2022, and 2K25 February 28, 2025 with Tiger Woods edition. 2K26 is expected with Year 2 passes. Play in release order, or start latest for live tours.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for golf worth listing, since seasons have no story and release order is the only path. The three click swing stays fixed, later games only add courses and golfers. Start with the latest 2K or EA for modern lists, then sample Tiger era freely. Later games run online societies.
