About TowerFall
TowerFall arrived in 2013 from Maddy Thorson as arena archery with limited arrows and catches. Ascension followed in 2014 adding quest co-op, new archers, stages, and variants.
Later ports bundle both as TowerFall Ascension standard. No sequel was made with Celeste as the next Thorson project. Play versus first for arrow basics, then quest co-op. The expansion content ships included in current builds. The arrow scarcity forces dodges and catches in every duel round. The quest unlocks archers with tricky trials.
Good to know
Release order here is original then expansion for history. Current builds include Ascension by default, so new players get both at once. Play a few versus rounds before quest mode for catch timing. Treat the series as finished at two with nothing further announced. Celeste is a separate Thorson series.
