About The Babysitter
The Babysitter (2017) follows bullied Cole spying on sitter Bee only to find her cult sacrificing for the Devil. It opened October 13, 2017 on Netflix from McG. The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020) jumps two years to high school, with the cult back for Phoebe and a lake showdown, opening September 10, 2020.
Both films share Cole, Bee, Melanie and the cult book without long recaps. McG has a third story in mind from 2020 and 2023 interviews, but Netflix never ordered it. Watch in release order, since the sequel reuses deaths and the Bee letter without reteaching them.
Good to know
Release order is story order, with the sequel set two years after the first night. Do not start with Killer Queen, since it assumes you know who lived and how Bee cheated death. Each runs around 100 minutes as horror comedy, not hard gore. Treat the duology as dormant complete, with no third dated and the cast aged out of high school.
