About Big Hero 6
Big Hero 6 from November 2014 follows Hiro rebuilding Baymax in San Fransokyo and won Best Animated Feature. The series launched with Baymax Returns in November 2017 and ran three seasons to February 2021 with Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, keeping most film voices except Wasabi and Fred. Baymax Dreams arrived from 2018 as short dream simulations made with Unity.
Baymax! from June 2022 ran six ten minute parts as the first series made by Walt Disney Animation Studios for TV. Producer Roy Conli said in 2024 a film sequel sits with Don Hall, who had no discussions underway. With no active production as of September 2026, the guide lists film, series, shorts and Baymax! as a dormant but open run.
Good to know
Watch film, then series seasons 1 through 3, then Baymax! last for the cleanest arc. Slot Baymax Dreams anywhere after the series starts, since the dream logic needs no placement. Counts vary because season 3 uses eleven minute segments, so follow seasons rather than segment totals. The Disney version is separate from the Marvel comic by Man of Action, so expect no MCU links.
