About Haseen Dillruba
Haseen Dillruba from July 2021 stars Taapsee Pannu as Rani and Vikrant Massey as Rishu in a small town love triangle with Harshvardhan Rane as Neel. Director Vinil Mathew frames the blast probe through Dinesh Pandit pulp novels Rani reads.
Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba from August 2024 follows the couple on the run in Agra with Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu. Jayprad Desai directs with the same novel device. Netflix has not dated a third as of September 2026, so the two form the set with Rani's guilt arc closed for now.
Good to know
Watch the 2021 film first without spoilers, since the sequel names the blast survivor in minutes. The second assumes you know the hand cut and novel trick from Rani's shelf. Both run over two hours in Hindi with subs and heavy melodrama. Pulp novel quotes frame each twist. Treat the pair as open while Netflix weighs a third chapter.
