About Kitty Green
Kitty Green made Casting JonBenet in 2017 interviewing a town about the case. The Assistant followed in 2019 trailing Garner through an office of quiet abuses. The Royal Hotel arrived in 2023 stranding two backpackers in an outback pub.
The works share watched women and men looking away but no plots link at all. Each runs quiet and tense on purpose. Release order shows her doc eye hardening into fiction that still observes first throughout every scene. Her doc roots show in the watched rooms and quiet takes used.
Good to know
Watch oldest to newest since the gaze builds that way well. Casting first sets the town interview base for the run. Assistant suits office nights while Royal closes as the outback peak. No next feature has a date yet, so the 2023 pub film stays last until one is announced. Her festival prizes confirm the gaze, so give Assistant full attention.
