About The Crow
The Crow began with Alex Proyas's 1994 film starring Brandon Lee as murdered musician Eric Draven, who returns from the dead to avenge himself and his fiancee. Lee died in an on-set accident before release, and the film became a goth landmark. Three anthology sequels followed from 1996 to 2005, each with a new Crow and a new cast.
Rupert Sanders directed a 2024 reboot starring Bill Skarsgard as Eric and FKA Twigs as Shelly. It adapts James O'Barr's comic directly and stands in a separate continuity, not as a sequel to the 1994 film. It grossed about $24 million worldwide against a $50 million budget. Director talk of a follow-up exists, but no sequel was greenlit as of September 2026.

The TV series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998-1999, 22 episodes, Mark Dacascos as Eric Draven) sits outside film continuity and is optional. Salvation played direct-to-video in most markets. A sequel to the 2024 reboot has only been discussed in interviews, never dated or confirmed, so this post tracks it as dormant.
