About Think Like a Man
Think Like a Man adapts Steve Harvey's book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man into four connected couples in 2012. The women use the book's advice, the men find out and push back, and the cast includes Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Regina Hall and Michael Ealy. It earned about 96 million dollars on a 12 million budget.
Think Like a Man Too from 2014 moves the same group to Las Vegas for a wedding weekend that falls apart. Tim Story directed both films and Will Packer produced both. The sequel assumes every relationship from the first film, so it plays as a direct second chapter rather than a standalone trip.
Good to know
Watch the 2012 film before the 2014 sequel, since the Vegas trip leans on every breakup and makeup from the first one. Both films run about two hours and share the same couples, so there is no alternate order worth trying. The Steve Harvey book premise carries across both films, so the jokes build. No third film has been announced, so the Vegas weekend is the endpoint.
