About Brilliant Minds
Brilliant Minds put Zachary Quinto in scrubs as Dr Oliver Wolf, a neurologist modeled on Oliver Sacks. Season 1 ran 13 episodes September 2024 to January 2025 on NBC, built around face blindness cases and the Bronx hospital crew. Season 2 ran 20 episodes September 2025 to July 1, 2026 after a February to May hiatus, closing with The Way Home.
NBC pulled it from the schedule in February 2026 and cancelled it that May after two seasons and 33 episodes. The final six aired May 27 to July 1 as a burn off. Watch both seasons straight since the crew romances and Wolf's own condition arc across the run.
Good to know
Release order is the only order since the hospital cases layer Wolf's face blindness reveal across both years. Season 2 assumes the season 1 crew bonds intact, so starting late strands newcomers. The show is cancelled with no revival announced, which leaves the 33 episodes as the complete set. The Sacks books sit behind the cases as background, never homework.
