About Broad City
Broad City follows Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler through New York jobs, dating and scams across five seasons from 2014 to 2019. Season 1 sets the roommate hustle with 10 short episodes. Middle seasons widen to temp work, art school and family visits while keeping episodes standalone.
Season 5 closes with Abbi and Ilana choosing different paths after 50 episodes total. Watch seasons 1 to 5 in order because callbacks to jobs, boyfriends and the winter trip build up. The run is complete with no revival announced.
Good to know
Release order matches story order with light continuity. Episodes mostly stand alone, but Ilana room search, Abbi trainer arc and the Florida trip pay off later. Season runtimes stay short at 10 episodes each. There are no movies or spinoffs to place, so the five season list is the whole guide. Start with season 1 for the purest version of the friendship.
